St. Francis of Assisi Parish holds adoration and Benediction Tuesday mornings following the 9 a.m. Mass at St. Thomas-a-Becket Church, 398 Vernon Ave., till about 10:30 a.m.

The Mt. Carmel Golden Years Club is always welcoming new members. Meetings are held 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesdays, in the Our Lady of Loreto parish center, 37A Massasoit Road. Bring a lunch, followed by socializing and bingo.

Ladies of Faith meetings will be held every third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the large meeting room at St. Mary Church, 640 Main St. The goal of the group is to practice faith, charity and have social gatherings.
